چکیده

This paper presents an extension of the comprehensive (overall) concordance index of ELECTRE methods, which takes the interaction between criteria into account. In real-world decisionmaking situations, it is reasonable to consider the interaction between a small number of criterion pairs. Three types of interaction have been considered: mutual strengthening, mutual weakening, and antagonistic. The new concordance index correctly takes into account such types of interactions, by imposing such conditions as boundary, monotonicity, and continuity conditions. We demonstrate that the generalized index is able to take the three types of interaction, or dependencies, between criteria into account satisfactorily, first using quasi criteria and then using pseudo criteria. We also examine the links between the new concordance index and the Choquet integral Key-words: Multicriteria analysis, Outranking methods, Interaction between criteria, Choquet integral.

ELECTRE methods with interaction between criteria: An extension of the concordance index

This paper presents an extension of the comprehensive (overall) concordance index of ELECTRE methods, which takes the interaction between criteria into account. In real-world decision-aiding situations, it is reasonable to consider only the interaction between a small number of criterion pairs. Three types of interaction have been considered: mutual strengthening, mutual weakening, and antagoni...

The integration of valued outranking relations in ELECTRE methods for ranking problem

The ELECTRE family of decision aid methods are well-known approaches in the field of multiple criteria decision aiding (MCDA). Different ELECTRE methods can be used for choice problem, ranking problem and sorting problem respectively. These methods are characterized by outranking relations and exploitation procedures. Different definitions of the outranking relations result in the difference of...

Intuitionistic fuzzy ELECTRE method and experimental analysis on contradiction rates

The purpose of this paper is to extend the ELECTRE method based on intuitionistic fuzzy sets in decision analysis and experimental analysis on the proposed methods’ contradiction rate. We identify different kinds of concordance and discordance sets, e. g. concordance, midrange concordance, weak concordance, discordance, midrange discordance and weak discordance for each ordering at the proposed...

Extensions of ELECTRE-I and TOPSIS methods for group decision-making under complex Pythagorean fuzzy environment

Multi-criteria group decision-making is a process in which decision makers assess the performance of alternatives on the basis of conflicting criteria to opt the most worthy alternative as solution. TOPSIS and ELECTRE are effective and commonly used methods to solve multiple criteria decision-making problems. The aim of this study is to propose two new models, namely, complex Pythagorean fuzzy ...

A Grey-Based Fuzzy ELECTRE Model for Project Selection

Project selection is considered as an important problem in project management. It is multi-criteria in nature and is based on various quantitative and qualitative factors. The main purpose of this paper is to present a new rank-based method for project selection in outranking relation. According to this approach, decision alternatives were clustered in the concordance matrix and the discordance...
